Inn Wine Bodegas y Viñedos was founded in 2023 as a family project situated in the heart of Castilla, in Socuéllamos, driven by the passion of a young winemaker and his family. We represent the fifth generation of viticulturists practicing viticul- ture in this same location, La Dehesa. The philosophy of our winery is to produce complex, high-quality wines from our own vineyards. To achieve this, we use Minimal Intervention, aiming to create wines that evoke pure, positive, and pleasu- rable sensations.
We avoid the use of any exogenous products such as acids, enzymes, nutrients, or others, as well as enological techniques like dynamic clarification, centrifugation, or filtration—in short, techniques that could dilute or denature the true essence of the grape. In our winemaking process, we apply what we call Conscious Enology, a term we coined to raise awareness that it is possible to create great wines based on knowledge while setting aside the superfluous and unnecessary.

Jesús David Alcolea Medina, known as Jesús Malaño, began his journey in the world of viticulture in the family vineyards. Observing his grandfather, father, and brother head to the vine- yards daily, he soon developed a curiosity. Over the years, season after season, he absorbed knowledge about the vege- tative cycle of the plant and its management. We can say that Jesús Malaño has grown up among the vines.
In 2014, he started his enology studies, completing a medium- level program and earning the title of "Technician in Oil and Wine Production." He then pursued advanced studies, beco- ming a "Technical Specialist in Viticulture." After completing this advanced program, and thanks to his professors, he decided to embark on a journey to the University of Cádiz, where he obtained his degree in Enology in 2022.
Not stopping there, he decided to enhance his tasting skills at the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), obtaining a Level 3 diploma. Additionally, he is currently pursuing a Master's in "Wine Business and Winery Management" from the University of Barcelona and the Barcelona Culinary Hub.
Having made wines in diverse appellations such as Ribeiro, Ribera del Júcar, and La Mancha, this is his first vintage under a family project, the first vintage of INN WINE BODEGAS Y VIÑEDOS bottled under the VINOS MALAÑO line.
Jesús Malaño lets his imagination run wild, crafting wines that range from pre-fermentative macerations of up to 96 hours, post- fermentative macerations of one or several weeks, fermentations in open barrels, aging on lees in barrels, sun-drying for over 30 days, carbonic macerations, aging in barrels previously used for Sherry, among others...
