Our Dream
Casa Bauzá Winery” is a family
boutique winery located in the north
side of the Maipo Valley, which
produces premium wine based on
varieties such as Carménère,
Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah,
Cabernet Franc, and others.
The wine company was founded by
Don Lorenzo Bauzá, who lived his life
connected to agriculture and wine
making, passionate and committed to
quality wine production.
The Vineyard is located in the north side of the
Maipo Valley undergoing 4 different stages
throughout its development: 1998, 2002, 2006 and
2016. Nowadays, it has 30 hectares planted with
red varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon,
Carménère, Syrah, Petit Verdot and Cabernet
Franc.
The alluvial and colluvial soil, along with the
Mediterranean climate delivers the perfect
conditions for the ripening of red varieties.
These conditions results in grapes with higher
concentration of Flavors, with soft and elegant
tannins, and complex aromas

Taking on the family legacy, Rodrigo Bauzá
leads Casa Bauzá team, sharing his expertise
as a master distiller and wine producer.

By the hand of Rodrigo, Natalia and the rest
of the team, Casa Bauzá wines have been
recognized year after year for their style and
quality by national and international wine
specialists such as: Patricio Tapia, Tim Atkin,
James Suckling, Robert Parker, among others.

She is our talented winemaker, who has
dedicated 10 years to Casa Bauzá. She is
determined to explore the Maipo, Colchagua
and Maule Valley in depth, and to venture
into the development of these wines with a
sense of origin, and a special focus on the
Carménère variety.
“We are dedicated to understanding the
special conditions of each of our terroirs,
which have led us to specialize in red varieties
such as Carménère, Cabernet Sauvignon,
Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Carignan and Petit
Verdot. We are especially interested in
capturing the expression of our origin in each
of our wines. That is why we harvest 100%
by hand and select all of our grapes before
winemaking”
