Since 1945, Bodegas Puente de Rus has been growing up and evolving within its environment. Now it relies on modern
facilities, which combined with our privileged land and our people’s wisdom. These elements all together help us produce
young and creative wines, protected by both the La Mancha designation of origin and Vinos de La Tierra de Castilla.
Bodegas Puente de Rus mixes tradition with innovation and offers high-quality, healthy and natural products, which help
manifest the benefits
of wine.

Our 2,750 hectares of vineyards are positioned in an average of 722 meters above sea level. The diversification of raw materials in our soils
(clay, sandy, calcareous soils ...) nurtures the roots of our vineyards and provides them with particularities which exist only in this region.
Besides, the characteristics of the orographic system along with the rainfalls guarantee both its complete maturity and adequate production of
acidity, sugars, tannin and polyphenols, and foster balance and structure within each single grape.
The natural process of cultivation goes along with an exhaustive and permanent monitoring process. This monitoring allows us to perform
necessary actions so as the production lines can be canalized by adjusting the grapes features from the sprouting process and controlling
their growing seasons. Thereof, we verify the quality and quantity of the fruits that we obtain, and observe the grapes comportment during
the elaboration. Thanks to these conditions, during decades we have been able to select the varieties that adapt better to our lands and
environments, including Airen, Macabeo, Sauvignon Blanc, Bobal, Monastrell, Moravia, Garnacha, Tempranillo, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon,
Petit Verdot and Merlot.

Bodegas Puente de Rus respect the production process aspects that make wines handmade products; however, it applies modern scientific
and technical knowledges at the same time, assuming the challenge of winemaking in the 21rst century. This is why the cellar relies on modern
facilities for reception and fermentation, which happen to be subtle conservation and cleaning processes of musts and grapes. On top of that,
the analytical techniques used in our creative quality control systems applied since the development of the vines, from the field to the bottles,
so that we can make sure that the current legal requirements have been respected.
Apart from the processes and technologies, we must point out the human factor, which is fundamental for our success. The qualifications,
